Poindexter

Operator. Technologist. Business Builder.

I have spent more than three decades working across technology, operations, business building, and problem solving. Today, I am building companies, helping businesses modernize, and working on a small number of ventures that I believe have real potential.

THANKS FOR COMING BY

I've spent most of my career behind the scenes.

Building systems, solving problems, helping businesses operate better, and working with people who were usually much more interested in being out front than I was.

I grew up with a stutter and carried a lot of anxiety around speaking. In 2005, I decided to stop hiding from it and started The RaiderCast. I produced and hosted the show for ten years. In 2025, I made another decision: stop worrying about the next word and own it.

Putting myself out there still does not come naturally. This site is a place to share what I am building, what I have learned, and where I am headed.

Being behind the scenes doesn't mean I have to stay hidden.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK

How I think

01

Systems before tools

Technology only matters when it improves how the business actually works.

02

Modernize without erasing

A good business should keep what made it valuable while improving the systems holding it back.

03

Technical skill is not business skill

I learned that the hard way. Knowing how to build or fix something is not the same as knowing how to operate a business.

04

Do the work

I am more interested in building, testing, operating, and improving than performing expertise from the sidelines.

A FEW MILES BEHIND ME

BOOK

Breaking Point

A personal book about pressure, failure, reinvention, anxiety, ambition, and what happens when the life you built stops working.

2005 · FINDING MY VOICE

Starting a podcast when speaking was one of the things that made me most uncomfortable probably says something about how I have approached challenges throughout my life.

LET'S TALK

Maybe there's something we should work on together.

I'm interested in thoughtful conversations with business owners, executives, investors, technology partners, and people building something worth improving.
